Securing European democracies relies on preserving freedom of expression and ensuring access to qualitative and trustworthy content from across the EU and beyond.

The creation of a European streaming platform could serve as a multilingual hub, aggregating high-quality news broadcasts from across Europe. This platform would enable EU citizens to discover and consume content in multiple languages, leveraging advanced AI technologies such as automatic speech recognition, machine translation for subtitles, and even automatic speech-to-speech translation. The recommended study evaluates the technical viability of implementing a European streaming platform.
